Rowley Leigh appointed Chef Patron at Parabola and the Design Museum
We are delighted to announce Rowley Leigh’s appointment as Chef Patron at Parabola. Rowley has maintained a close relationship with the Design Museum since its move to the stunning John Pawson building and re-opening in November, as our most successful chef as part of the Guest Chef Series at Parabola and more recently, he has been responsible for curating a series of special dinners tying in closely with the museum’s exhibition.
Rowley will direct all culinary endeavours at the Design Museum – from the ground floor café, to large events and private dining, with Parabola restaurant being the flagship. Labelled the ‘Godfather of British cooking’, Rowley will be designing concise and regularly changing menus of seasonal dishes from the classic to the modern. Lunch will consist of simple salads, soups and sandwiches alongside a selection of affordable ‘plats’ and the more gastronomic menu that is offered in the evening. This will be available at either fixed or à la carte prices, perfect for a quick bite after visiting the museum or Holland Park, or for settling in for a more special dinner.
